 The HealthONE Cancer Network is comprised of the five hospitals and multi-site clinics that are part of the HealthONE hospital system in Denver, Colorado and surrounding metropolitan area. The HealthONE Cancer Network diagnoses or treats 1/3 of all the cancer patients in Colorado. We offer comprehensive cancer care for patients with all different cancers. Our facilities provide screening and cancer detection for all malignancies. We provide pediatric cancer care, bone marrow transplantation, radiation therapy, as well as general medical and surgical cancer treatments. Health care professionals such as nurses, social workers, pharmacists, dietitians, and rehabilitation specialists, all with specialized training in cancer care, are available to help cancer patients and their families cope with these diseases.
Through the Colorado Cancer Research Program, all our physicians and patients have access to NCI funded cancer clinical trials. Those trials include studies for the treatment of almost all cancers as well as cancer prevention trials such as the STAR trial for the prevention of breast cancer.
Are you at risk for breast cancer?
Simply being a woman and getting older puts you at risk for breast cancer. The older you are, the greater your chances of getting breast cancer. Also, you are at higher risk if your mother, sister, or daughter has had breast cancer. There are 1,300 cases of breast cancer in men per year, too. Find out more! |
Annual Reports
Our four cancer programs follow the standards for cancer program and cancer patient care as outlined by the American College of Surgeons, Commission on Cancer. Our cancer programs at Swedish Medical Center, Presbyterian/St. Luke's Medical Center, The Medical Center of Aurora, and Rose Medical Center are all accredited by the ACoS, Commission on Cancer.
